Acer rubrum Redpointe is a deciduous tree that brings stunning colour into your garden in the Autumn months. This Acer rubrum cultivar has a slender crown form, with the main features of the tree growing on a straight, main stem. It grows at a fast rate and will fill any small garden or border with dark green colour in Summer; bright red in Autumn. Small, red flowers will grow in March - April, adding a further period of interest.
More commonly known as Red Maple, this variety prefers to be grown in fertile, moist and well-drained soil, meaning regular watering is necessary for adequate progression. It is best grown in areas of full sunlight. The ultimate height and spread of this Acer is 12m in height and 6m in spread.
