Achillea Vintage Violet

Bold, striking colours and interesting fern-like foliage. The Achillea ‘New Vintage Violet’ is a variety of Yarrow plant and a compact herbaceous perennial with a hardy and versatile disposition. Its leaves appear as finely divided, feathery leaves which appear beneath the short stems which branch and spread into flat sprays of rich violet-purple flowers with cream centre eyes and long flowering periods, lasting from early-to-mid Summer right through to the Autumn.

Plant in moderately moist, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in an open, exposed position in the garden. Tolerant of most conditions and drought tolerant once established. Not suited to heavy, overly wet soils which can cause the plant to droop.
