A compact perennial with great naturalising woodland properties which are well suited to most woodland-style displays. The Anemone ‘Dainty Swan’ is a low maintenance herbaceous plant with deep dark green, serrated foliage which grows somewhat clumped beneath the tall slender stems which appear in Summer carrying pure white, semi-double, slightly nodding flowers with purple pink on the reverse-side of the petals.
Plant in moderately moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. Maintain soil moisture and keep away from exposed or windy sites. Some mulching is recommended for areas with harsher Winters.
