Anemone Dreaming Swan

A clump-forming to upright herbaceous perennial with glossy foliage and bright single to semi-double flowers with a long blooming period. The Anemone ‘Dreaming Swan’, also known as Windflower, Vigorous but compact plant with dark green, toothed or incised leaves situated beneath tall stems which carry ruffled, white flowers with purple-blue bands along the reverse of each petal, which provide a nice contrast to the foliage below. A rhizomatous but non-invasive perennial suited to most garden positions.

Plant in moderately moist, fertile, well-drained, humus-rich soils and keep in full or partial sun. Can be planted in most positions but heavy, water retentive soils should be avoided as the plant is intolerant of waterlogging and poor drainage, especially during the Winter months.
