Berberis Rose Glow

This small, deciduous, charming shrub catches attention for its purple leaves, speckled all over with pink and white. The gorgeous yellow flowers appear in the spring, followed by the berries in the autumn. The berries often remain on the stems after the folige dies out, making this oriental shrub extend it's season, through to the winter. These specific shrubs are easy to care for and fairly low maintenance. The Japanese barberry is very adaptable, growing well as a single plant, or massed out in beds.

This shrub enjoys full sun or partial shade. The plant thrives in any kind of soil, as long as it is well drained. This is a hardy shrub and it does not need protection.
