Our Ribes rubrum Little Black Sugar is a hardy plant that will produce edible fruit that is full of healthy vitamins and minerals. The plant bears green foliage and small flowers from Spring onwards, followed by those delicious Blackberries. These will begin harvesting in July and August, ready to bring a sweet flavour to juices, jams and more.

They will grow to an ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
