Clematis Pernille

Clematis Pernille is an exquisite climber with leafy green foliage accompanied by striking flowers which are white in the centre, deepening to deep purple around the edges. This deep purple will fade over time into a stunning soft lilac shade, giving an almost hand-painted look. The plant is deciduous and will lose its foliage over the winter months, ready for fresh, new leaves in spring before a myriad of new blooms in the summer months all the way through until early autumn.

Growing to an ultimate height of 2-2.5m and an ultimate spread of 1.5-2.5, Clematis Pernille is ideal for adding a splash of colour to walls, trellises and arches, although it’s also well-suited to growing in a pot. This hardy plant will continue to provide a stunning show of flowers year after year from summer until autumn.
