An extremely vibrant member of the Codiaeum genus is this Codiaeum variegatum Excellent. More commonly known as Joseph's Coat, because of its multicoloured palette, this plant will instantly add a tropical element to any indoor space. The shades of deep red and black on the underside of the leaves are a great offset for the bright green and yellow on top, making the overall appearance of the plant very eye-catching.
It can easily be placed within locations such as homes, offices, desks and window sills as it prefers being situated in bright, indirect light. From there, it should receive regular watering from Spring through to Autumn, with less being given in Winter. Also, misting is recommended due to the plants appreciation of moist air.
