Fargesia Murielae, more commonly known as Umbrella Bamboo, is a beautiful and elegant bamboo plant flaunting tall, slim green/yellow stems. The canes will arch out under robust masses of bright green lanceolate leaves that your Fargesia will retain year-round. Hardy plant with evergreen foliage, the shrub will be perfect for live screening, patio containers, a unique twist on hedging or a feature plant to draw the eye in.

Your Fargesia Murielae will thrive in dappled shade, planted in moisture retentive soil such as clay or loam. Vigorous grower for quick effects, it will also take well to pruning back if it becomes too tall for your space. To showcase the striking, vivid coloured canes, remove dead or damaged leaves regularly.
