Helenium Short & Sassy

A more compact form of ‘Sneezeweed’ with shorter stems but retaining the same clumping foliage and generally hardy disposition. The Helenium ‘Short and Sassy’ is a tough and low maintenance herbaceous perennial with clumping, lance-shaped, dark green foliage growing beneath rigid stems bearing large, rounded brown centre cones encircled by deep yellow petals from mid-Summer through to the Autumn. A great choice for container or border planting and a wonderful pollinator.

Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. Grows well in most positions and conditions, however, avoid dry soils. Some stems may require staking for support.
