The fuzzy-skinned Kiwi, the Actinidia deliciosa is a fast growing and perennial fruiting vine native to southern China. Great for growing in containers and this hardy Kiwiplant is often used as a screen or shade vine in order to create a dense cover. If growing for fruit, you can harvest them in autumn.

Plant the Kiwi vines in full sun or light shade and in any humus rich garden soil. Keep the soil evenly moist throughout the growing season and ensure that the soil does not become dry in hot weather. This spectacular climber can reach a height of 6m and a spread of 4m. Prune their vines only when they are dormant.
