Mushroom Kit - White Button V4

White button mushrooms have a delicate earthy flavour that works well in lots of culinary dishes. Add to pizzas, pastas, omelettes and stir fries or use as a main ingredient for stroganoffs, casseroles and soups. Due to their high nutritional value, mushrooms are often used in vegetarian and vegan cooking.

This kit allows you to grow your own white button mushrooms and have them fresh to hand whenever you need them. it doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen and they mushrooms can be grown at any time of year so there’s no need to wait until spring to start growing your own produce.

Once you start the project, the mushrooms will be ready to harvest and enjoy in around 3 weeks. The only thing you’ll need to supply is water - everything else is included in the pack. Leave the pack to rest and settle at room temperature on day 1. On day 2 add 10cl of water to the peat based soil and return the lid. Leave alone until day 9, when you should lightly spray the soil every other day until the mushrooms are ready to harvest.
