Phormium Brown Sugar

Phormium 'Brown Sugar' is a compact evergreen perennial shrub that is guaranteed to attract attention. The foliage of the variety develops characteristically long sword-like leaves with a slight falling habit. The leaves are variegated with attractuve cream and brown stripes and a predominantly chocolate coloured centre, surrounded by bright yellow and orange borders. Ideal for filling a spot in a plant bed that could use a colourful low-growing shrub to brighten things up.

This plant prefers well-drained soil and fully-sunny positions in the garden, but can tolerate partially shaded areas also.
