Pieris Sarabande

Pieris japonica Sarabande is an evergreen shrub with dark green foliage that takes on a bronze hue throughout Spring. Its evergreen leaves guarantee year-round interest and is the perfect accompaniment for the plants elegant white, urn-shaped flowers. When they bloom, you'll be sure to know about it, as they form in clusters and make a great impact within borders, pots, containers or sitting pride of place amongst patio or porch displays.

With it being a smaller variety, it is a pleasure for any level of plant enthusiast to grow. It is also low maintenance, being able to cope well in any sunny or partially shaded area of the garden, tolerating most soil types that are moist and well drained. You should then only need to water it when the soil is dry to touch.
