Sarracenia Smoorii (12cm) V2

This interesting looking indoor plant, that can be more commonly known as the Trumpet Pitcher Plant is the Sarracenia Smoorii. The plant has some gorgeous features, with the foliage catching the eye of many plant lovers. With bright green being the main base colour, joined by deep red veins which are spread out on each leaf, this plant will fit into an indoor space with ease. The Smoorii gives you a plant that has traits of the popular Fly Trap - this will see unwanted insects removed from the air once they attach themselves to the inner section of the tubular foliage. You must take into consideration, however, that the plant will appreciate direct sunlight as much as possible. So, place it on a window sill, or an area where you are able to guarantee regular access to those conditions. Sarracenia Smoorii will also be able to disperse of unwanted inects in your home, with the tubular foliage taking them in when they attach themselves to the inner section of the tube. Water the plant with rainwater, as this is most recommended. Normal tap water is not advised as this will have a lasting effect on the plant.
