Sempervivum Berry Blues (9cm)

A hardy and resilient evergreen succulent with interesting shape and colour, the Sempervivum ‘Berry Blues’ from the Chick Charms® range is a great all-rounder for almost any garden. Sometimes known as ‘Hens & Chicks’ or ‘House leek’, this tough little shrub is notable for its rounded, mat-forming rosette shape made up of waxy, blue-green to grey-green leaves which gain hues of red and purple in the Winter months as the weather cools. A suitable option for rockeries, alpine beds or wall planting.

Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant. Susceptible to Winter wet and waterlogged areas.
