Chick Charms® Sempervivum ‘Plum Parfait’ is an exciting variety of Hens & Chicks carrying colourful foliage with subtle shifts in hue throughout the seasons. The leaves are waxy and pointed, and are arranged in tightly rounded rosette patterns with colours ranging from yellow-green in Spring, to pink to deep rich plum-purple in the Winter with some variation also dependent on sunlight exposure. A great option for rock gardens with contrasting Sempervivum for an attractive display.
Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant. Susceptible to Winter wet and waterlogged areas.
