Strelitzia nicolai

Strelitzia nicolai, commonly known as White Bird of Paradise, is an evergreen indoor plant. The plant will grow to a relatively tall height, making it an eye-catching addition to the corner of a room, or as a centrepiece. Its smooth foliage is full of dark green colour, as well as providing helpful, air-purifying qualities to any room. This quality will clean the air surrounding the shelf, desk or tabletop this is placed on.

When caring for the plant, you should look to place it full sunlight as it does not appreciate shade. Whenever the soil is dry to touch, the plant should be watered. Summertime is an important period for this as the heat levels increase. It should also be misted regularly to maintain its smooth feel.
